  • Nike Tech Craft Released – How To Secure A Pair Now!

Although they are not set to be a limited edition release, the race will be on today to secure pairs of boots from the Nike Tech Craft collection. When you mix modern innovation without classic performance, you get a series of boots that players will want. Each of Nike’s four football boot styles – Hypervenom, Magista, Mercurial and Tiempo – have been fitted with Nike Tech Craft across the forefoot. Basically, Nike has taken Flyknit and Dynamic Fit collars, and matched them with a clean leather across the forefoot.

There is no doubt that huge numbers of pairs will be purchased on day 1 of release, meaning certain sizes are likely to sell out. For that reason, here is our quick summary on each boot and how you can secure your pair today.
Nike Hypervenom Phantom II – Total Orange

An enhanced level of touch and control placed across a boot designed with a plethora of dynamic pieces to improve performance for attack minded players. It is a symphony of the latest technology and classic ball control.
Nike Mercurial Superfly – Hyper Pink

Out of all the boots on the list, this is an absolutely next level move from Nike. Who would have ever foreseen the release of a leather Superfly? Adding to the hype is that Hyper Pink detailing that highlights the look
Nike Magista Obra – Hyper Tourquoise

These boots represent the most radical modified performance. Released as the first soccer specific Flyknit/Mid-Cut Collar boot, adding a layer of leather across the medial and lateral side of the upper dramatically changes the direction of the range.
Nike Tiempo Legend V – Green Strike

Here lies the most unusual release in the range, simply because the Tiempo Legend is already a leather boot! But a clean paint job is added in order to keep the current longest running Nike boot available for players to choose. Defined for the traditionalist who doesn’t need flashy.

Nike Hypervenom Phinish – Total Orange
Here lies the one boot on the list that I really want to get my hands on! With the likes of Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane wearing the Phinish, and a layer of soft leather added to the forefoot, it lines up as a potentially deadly boot.
Nike Mercurial Vapor X – Hyper Pink
We are familiar with the Vapor receiving leather like uppers in the past, but this represents a complete step up and a new way to combine speed with improved control. I’m sure this will be one of the hottest selling boots in the series.
Nike Magista Opus – Hyper Tourquoise
Already billed as a control style boot, it will be interesting to see what players think of the tight leather across the upper. What style of definition will it create, and will it take away from the currently level of control?

  • Nike Tech Craft Pack Magista Obra Release

Landing as one quarter of the new Nike 'Tech Craft' Pack the Magista Obra's vibrant "Hyper Turquoise" paint job from the Lightning Storm collection sees a dark leather shadow creep over the play.

The Nike Tech Craft Magista was the boot that changed it all for Nike when it was launched ahead of the 2014 World Cup, with Flyknit technology and a Dynamic Flyknit Collar the days of traditional football boots looked to have been left behind but now Nike have reached back to combine the best of both worlds. Smothering the Magista Obra with a layer of leather for the very first time to pull off one of the most interesting releases of 2015.
The two colour split across the 'Tech Craft' Pack is reminiscent from the popular Euro 2012 Clash Collection, only this time Nike's new toys are that bit extra advanced. A thin layer of leather material has been welded onto the lateral and medial sides of the New Tech Craft Pack Magista Obra to bring the silo closer to it's control roots on which the foundations of the CTR series were built with. Tech Craft then, could well be the boot that ropes in the final few sceptical players of Nike's Flyknit technology.
